The Tuition Assistance Fund of Southwestern Indiana, Inc is a state tax credit program designed to assist low and middle income families in attending the statutorily eligible private school of their choice. Funding will come from private, charitable donations to the scholarship fund. Donors (individuals or corporations) are eligible to take advantage of a 50% credit against their state tax liability. It is impossible to determine, at this point, what funding will be available for scholarships for the 2010-2011 school year, or the amount of the scholarships. However, the Board of Directors is determined to provide at least a minimal scholarship to eligible students in order to insure their eligibility for subsequent years. To qualify eligible students for the 2010-2011 academic year, it is critical to receive applications by July 1, 2010. You may click here to view an application.
