Holy Rosary Totten Hall Preschool is a joyful learning environment for our littlest students.  Our educational community strives for continuous growth in our faith and expression of our Catholic Identity.  When working with our preschool and pre-kindergarten children, we emphasize that Jesus loves all of His little children and He wants us to love one another.  We help the children understand and make choices that will strengthen the roots of their faith as little children.

Here is a list of activities you might see in our preschool:

  • Meeting friends
  • Looking at books
  • Sharing
  • Listening to music and learning new songs to sing
  • Developing and expanding language abilities
  • Having creative art experiences
  • Pretending in the dramatic play area
  • Building with different materials
  • Introduction to colors, numbers, letters and shapes

We recently added an innovative math skill development program called Every Day Counts Calendar Math to our curriculum.  We’re excited about this math program, because it begins in our preschool and continues through our Kindergarten and on through fourth grade.  This vertical alignment is beneficial for students in learning math skills and application strategies and provides a strong foundation for our students.
